None of this shows up in a product photo. It is also why a piece gets worn every week instead of living at the back of the closet.
Every skirt hangs by its waistband before it is listed. Pleats that fall closed on their own keep doing it in your closet.
CheckedOn a plaid, the pattern on one side of the closure has to carry on across the other, and the hem has to sit level all the way around.
CheckedThe V-neck or center cable sits in the middle of the front, and stripes run level and meet at the side seams.
CheckedCuffs and hem ribbing have to return to shape after a stretch, and side seams have to run straight down.
CheckedThree outfits we would wear from the first coffee to the last train. Size each piece on its own, then tuck the front.

A heavy black knit over a dark denim skort. Shorts underneath, so the subway stairs are no problem.
A red light knit with white eyelet. Bright enough to spot across the street.
Ingianna stocks two things: short skirts and the sweaters that go over them. Denim micros and a skort, eyelet and plaid, light knits and chunky ones, all sold separately so you size each piece for your own body.
We care less about how a skirt looks flat on a table and more about how it holds up on someone walking fast, sitting down on a train, and reaching for a bag. Pleats that close on their own. Stripes that meet at the seams. Hems that sit level.

Styling
A plaid looks like many colors at once, but it is built from very few. Once you can see how a particular plaid is put together, choosing a sweater to wear with it stops being a guess.

Care Guide
A mini skirt has very little fabric, and all of it shows. A crease across the front, a hem that has started to curl, or a waistband that has stretched out of shape is right at eye level.
